About Statkraft

Statkraft is Europe’s largest generator of renewable energy and
has operated in the UK since 2006.

Statkraft is Europe’s largest generator of renewable energy. In the UK we develop, own and operate renewable power production facilities and are also involved in the trading and origination of power from our own projects and those of third parties. Since 2009 we have invested over £1.4billion in renewable energy infrastructure and our power purchase agreements have supported in excess of £3.5 billion of investment into independent projects.

Our portfolio includes 3 onshore wind farms across the UK and Rheidol Hydropower Plant near Aberystwyth in Mid-Wales. We are the operators of the Sheringham Shoal Offshore Wind Farm and together with our partners Statoil and Masdar we are currently constructing Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm, both located off the coast of North Norfolk.
